If today were your last, what would you do?

Since its beginnings in 1999, Her Heart's Wish has granted a legacy of memories for women and their families facing the end of their time together. The wish recipients have ranged in age from 18 to 78 years. They have lived in Pennsylvania, California and many places in between. A young woman from New Jersey celebrated a Wedding Blessing and a family in the Midwest celebrated a Thanksgiving Reunion. Young mothers have taken their children to Disney World and women, young and old, have met their idols. Some have experienced the first vacation of their lives and others have enjoyed a final special memory with a loved one.

Her Heart's Wish is a national organization dedicated to granting the wishes of women facing terminal illness

As a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, HHW provides the opportunity for women over the age of 18 to experience a once in a lifetime wish. Medical documentation of a life expectancy of two years or less must be completed by the woman's primary care giver. Women must be residents of the United States or its territories and have not received a wish from any other wish granting organization.

After months or years of searching for a cure, even the most financially secure families often have little resources left to make wishes a reality. Even the simplest wish of a shopping trip with a young daughter, an Easter dinner, or a video camera to document one's life story for her children may be more than some women could even imagine. Her Heart's Wish exists so that women can not only imagine living life to the fullest every day, but can actually make dreams even at the end of life come true.
